| 354 | Jennifer | I just recently moved out of the chicago area to Dallas, Texas. I listened to Drex in the morning everyday during my morning commute. I just finally was able to start listening over the internet to Drex in the morning at my current job in Dallas, and I have to say how disappointed I am to learn that Pete is no longer on the show. PLEASE bring him back. I think that it is really sad that you have to eliminate someone that is so essential to your staff, just to "achieve greater results". The morning show just isn't the same now that Peter is not there. |

Do you realize the reasoning behind my calling in and contributing to those topics aired was due to the three individuals who sat in those chairs. You knew those three were not only friends but they all genuinely loved each other and Clear Channel has not only taken that away from both Drex and Mel, but also the listeners, like myself, who handed over our loyalties and will now be taking them back. | 382 | Petey's fan | I noticed over the past few months that while Drex's show is still funny, it was missing something. Something that made it great. I couldn't place it but it finally started hitting me, Petey wasn't there. For a few weeks I thought that maybe he was on vacation, but alas I find out he was terminated. That is a real shame. His comments along with Mel-T and Drex's were what made the show funny. The decision to get rid of Petey was not a good one and the show is suffering for it. I hope the Clear Channel will reconsider. |

Petey represented an important demographic, those of us in our 30's, and did so in such an honest way, and with so much chemistry with Mel and Drex, that things are not the same without him. |

I am one of the few people who listened to the entire show from 5:30 - 10 while working and I have to say, when Drex and Mel announced that Petey was no longer on the show I cried a little bit. I understand the need to cut costs and eliminate positions and obviously the producer position would be the logical step, but Petey is more than just a producer; Petey is a personality. People call in to get three perspectives , not just two. I love Drex and Mel, but I haven't listened to the show since Petey left because it makes me too sad. I will check in to see if I hear his voice, and then just go back to listening to my iPod instead. Please bring him back!! |
