Say No to China's Use of Foce in Taiwan's Affairs

Given that China has passed law allowing force against Taiwan if it moves toward formal independence, we call for the Olympic Movement as well as for athletes and governments of different countries in the world to boycott the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, which will be held in Beijing in 2008. Please have a copy of the petition sent to 2008@beijing-olympic.org.cn and to your government’s representatives after your signature. Thank you very much.

Considérant que la Chine a approuvé une loi autorisant l’emploi de la force contre Taiwan si celui-ci déclare son indépendance, nous vous prions de signer la présente pétition demandant au Mouvement Olympique ainsi qu’aux athlètes et aux autorités de différents pays du monde de boycotter les Jeux de la XXIXe Olympiade, qui seront tenus à Pékin en 2008. Considerando que China aprobada una ley que autoriza el empleo de la fuerza contra Taiwán si éste declara la independencia, les rogamos de firmar la presente petición que demanda al Movimiento Olímpico así como a los atletas y a las autoridades de distintos países del mundo el boicoteo de los Juegos de la XXIX Olympíada, que se celebrarán en Pekín en 2008. As a municipal employee in Canada, I am against the fact that China threats to use force if Taiwan formally declares its independence. As China has been separating from China since 1949, let's Taiwan decide its own destiny.
