ShariRansfordNJUSLarry Bowa was one of my first favorite players when I was a kid. I was happy when he became the manager for the Phils. I wish him the best of luck and he definately belongs in the hall of fame!!
AndrewMastrosante

CraigFaragalliPAUSBowa for the Hall of Fame! Give the man what he deserves and worked so hard for.
ChuckRansfordUSI think Bowa should be with the best. Also, I think he sould come back as Philles manager.
AnthonyQuintavallePAUSLARRY BOWA IS DESERVING
DavidWerdenVTUSShortstops - are under represented in the Hall - Aside from Ozzie Smith Bowa was the most balanced Shortstop of his era before the - Ripkin AL type model. Bowa alos had great range...and his hitting improved as he got older.
PeterBecMIUSI grew up in South Jersey. I remember my all time favorite team, the Phillies, win their 1980 World Title...

ShariRansfordNJUSI have also been a Larry Bowa fan and think he deserves the honor. Good luck Debbie. I hope you accomplish your goal.
johnbosongPAUSWE WANT BODOG IN!
JoeOesterleUSLarry Bowa was the best defensive shortstop of his era. It makes sense that if Rizzuto was allowed in the Hall, then Bowa ought to be in as well.
johnblauthUSStatistically, the NL's highest career fielding percentage, according to Baseball Almanac.com. Other career leaders tend to get their hall pass, despite their personality.
JoanneGlassoffThe BEST shorstop to EVER play for the Phils! It's a no-brainer!
AnonymousAnonymousUSYou spelled "errors" wrong (erros???)
JosephRaikerBowa was by far one of the best shortstops of his time. Him and his glove should be in the Hall.
TravisCooperAU
philaylingPAUShe has best fielding % of any ss ever.. over 2000 hits more chances then most ss ever and even better avg then some if phil rizuto and luis aparico can make it he should 2..... even the wizard wasnt as good as him in the field!! 5time allstart 2gold gloves had to be doing something right
DouglasLeonardCAJust hard to believe that someone with his career stats can't make it into the Hall of Fame. It seems they only reward power and pitching, rather than unique fielding talent. Bowa was arguably the greatest fielding SS of his day.
John V.HolohanPAUSNot electing this man would be a mockery to Cooperstown and all of the players before and after him.
houstonwoodALUSi have been a phillies fan since 1975,and larry bowa is the biggest over achever to ever play the gane.He is one of the best defensive short stops to ever play the game, just look at the stats.
PEDRORAMIREZCOI played Colt League baseball with Larry. I was a teammate on mr.Doc HOLIDAY team. Called the Bears
AnonymousAnonymousLove ya Larry!!! 1980's
PaulBergerPABowa was my favorite player and my favorite 3rd base coach, and my favorite manager
TroyBoyerPAUSBowa & Concepcion were the best shortstops of their era, led their teams to several pennants, but got no look from the Hall voters. Would the Phillies have been the best team of the late seventies and early eighties without Bowa?

matthewreisigNJUSLarry Bowa was the best fielding shortstop of his era, bar none. He was better than Belanger.
AnonymousAnonymous
DanForesterPAUSOne of the best shortstops ever to play the game. Bowa had great range and got to balls that average shortstops wouldn't come close to and still had a very high fielding percentage. Very good lead off hitter with speed.
AnonymousAnonymousCAUSPut the man in.
AlisonGoldberg
DougEmeryUTUSI knew Larry when he played in the minor and big leagues. He was great and deserves a shot.
