| 4010 | Alissa | college students which make up a very large portion of the Boston population are generally under 21 until their 3rd year of school. This means that for the first 2 or 3 years of school in the boston metro area they are being shut out of the arts culture of the city. Music has always been a important aspect to the college lifestyle and this si being taken away by the men in power of the city. This is unfair, and discriminatory. Also, the radio stations in the Boston Metro area are mostly run by college students, many of which are under the age of 21. These students should be able to get experience with the backstage interview process as well as the on site journalism lifestlye. Closing all clubs to those under 21 shuts out those of us interested in the pursuing a career in the music buisness, journalism, or club ownership. |
