29 Shan MurleyI am a former Social Worker and used to work with women who were the victims of family violence. As a result, I am personally familiar with the very real increased risk of violence against a woman who is pregnant. I am also a mother. I know that women who have chosen to give birth to a child fall in love with that child long before it's born. The desire to protect that child is a very strong instinct and to lose that child is emotionally devastating. I applaud Mr. Epp for his dedication and commitment to this cause and for his respect for the life of a wanted child.

44 Wade MeszarosI am advocating for the support of bill C-484 (The unborn Victims of Crime Act) which would recognize unborn children as separate victims when they are injured or killed during the commission of an offence against their mothers, allowing two charges to be laid against the offender instead of just one.
