| 38 | Lucas | Gonyier | IA | US | I would just like to add that I attended the meetings to get the Dubuque skate park built, and I along with several other Bikers helped give some input on the design. We were told bikes would be allowed at those meetings. But when it was built we were surprised with a sign that said no bikes! I know it was because of some insurance policy for the sate of iowa that didn't cover bikes, but that polacy has resently been changed and several other public parks in Iowa have started allowing bikers. The Ankeny Public Skate Park being one of them! I don't see why the City of Dubuque won't simply change the rules and allow bikes now that there is no problem with the state?
Please just do us this little favore and let bikes in.
