Beltran In Blue for 2005

With the uncertainty of Moises Alou and Sammy Sosa returning to the Chicago Cubs for the 2005 season, we are in desperate need of a young outfielder with potential. Twenty-six year-old Carlos Beltran can be just that answer. The purpose of this petition is for Chicago to hear our voice! If Jim Hendry knew that so many people cared about making Beltran a Cubbie, maybe that would help motivate him to sign him in 2005. This petition is here to show all those other teams how connected our fans are with the game. We are true fans! We are here every year through the laughter and tears, heart ache and joy. Lets be here when the Cubs of 2005 are put together as a team. Lets try to help. In no way do I underestimate the decision making of Mr. Hendry, but I feel that there is something that us fans can do. Lets be heard!

Also, many of you may have already signed the other petition from the Cubs Fan Forum. But this one is for the Tribune purposes. This is the one we will use to support our case to the Tribune. We need all the support we can get! Go Cubs!
