On Tuesday 2nd December 2003, an offensive man will attempt to enter St Mary's Stadium, Southampton with an offensive weapon, blatently contravening stadia rules. Stadia rules clearly state that person may not enter the ground carrying an offensive weapon of any description.
John Pikey Westwood will attempt to gain entry to the ground carrying an item that has a handle with a perpendicularly attached head of metal or other heavy rigid material - in other words a bell. Nothing wrong with a bell, you may think, but read this definition of a hammer:
"A hand tool that has a handle with a perpendicularly attached head of metal or other heavy rigid material, and is used for striking or pounding."
Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Now, would anybody be allowed access to a football ground carrying a hammer?
No. On these grounds alone, we must ban the Bell. Sign up now! |
