Here our children are brought and moved into a beautiful town that has so very much history behind it. To have a beautiful house like the Belden house with the most history left standing in our townis definately a hostorical siting. We can't even have our children enjoy the beauty of the home or the infamous family who put so much into that house. Our childrenwill never know our forfathers or their actual unique craftsmanship they had except from the stories we tell them. To see and have something from 300 years ago still standing for so long shows how unique our fathers and ancestors workmanship really was. It was all about family back then, WHY CANT WE STILL MAKE IT ABOUT FAMILY! I thought history was what the town of Carmel actually stood for. Please think long and hard about preserving such beauty that is in the Belden house for we do need to make a difference in our town by preserving it's original beauty..... |
