The petition

The application of cosmetic pesticides on lawns and gardens is regulated by your local municipality. This means that we can easily change the rules regarding this issue. Cosmetic pesticides are as the words describe completely for visual effect only. Many alternatives now exist that render these ancient chemicals obsolete. Every year people, pets and children become ill and even die from acute exposure to these chemicals, simply from walking and playing on grass which has been recently sprayed. The long term effects of pesticide exposure are too numerous to list here but are equally as disturbing.
