Repeal the ban on HIV+ visitors to the U.S.

It is a known fact that we as citizens of the US are allowed into numerous countries even with our current HIV+ status ,yet at the same time the US is restricting citizens of those very same countries from crossing our borders due to their HIV+ status. This was a ridiculous law when it went into affect and it's time that we stand up and say, "Stop the dictatorship and open our borders." All this law does is stop tourist dollars from entering the US.With todays technology,HIV Education and medication there is no known reason as to why these people should be banned from visiting our country. After all arent we supposed to be the land of the free.

This petition is being sponsored By Jeff Madden an HIV+ US voting citizen to try to stop the anarchy ways of this country. We are a free country yet our gov't intereferes in each of our everyday lives and its time to put a stop to it.There is absolutely no reason for this law to be on the books today. It was understandable when HIV was new and unknown. However with everything that is known about the disease there is no reason not to allow these people into our country.
