| 66 | ronald e. mccurdy | This action is unconscionable for 3 reasons
(i) Ny understanding is that the government os guaranteering that the company is guaranteed to not lose money and that a high price is being offered for the electricity.
(ii) the falls are being compromised as a tourist site to develop power. Bala needs indeed exists from tourism. The site is a national treasure.
(iii) Hyrod electric power is mechanical and we can now do better with made in Ontarion technology. Solar power can be developed in the woods where no one need view it. A technolgy can be developed creating permanent manufacturing and installation jobs. Solar is most abundant during the day and iin summer, the very time when peak loads occur. Run of the river generation will be at its minimum when it is needed most.
(iv) As advertised in TV warnings water may rush oout unannounced from an opening of the flow. People regularly swim in the outflow area. What are you thinking! |

| 86 | mary davies | Considering the minimal amount of added value compared to the extreme amount of damage to local businesses, an alternate location should be found for this project. In particular considering the somewhat already fragile economy, closing down buiness even temporarily could be disasterous to the community.
On top of this the spawning beds which are just making a comeback would be destroyed. |

Maybe each member of the legislative assembly should have a electric generating windmill installed on their front lawn to generate the needed electricity for the grid |

| 96 | Edward Grady | I petition the government to seek more input from the local residents about the impact that the proposed changes to the Bala Falls will have on the local beauty and accessibility, as well as to the local economy. This includes those residents who do not have year round access to their property. |

| 98 | Dennis Dixon | Living in Bala for 21 years and would be a big heartache to see the most central part of our town spoiled with an eyesore....not to mention encroaching on a key focal point of our tourist attraction....The View. |
