Public hearing on utilities rollout at Baker Beach

The petition

As of March 1st 2008 the Presidio Trust no longer include utilities for the Baker Beach Apartments for all leases renewing on or after March 1st. New utilities will include electric, water, sewage in addition to the gas you already pay.

In addition your rent may increase in accordance with the lease policy of charging market rate. The rents in San Francisco are the highest they have ever been.

There are no public meetings scheduled to address this issue.

If you are like me you can agree that it is expensive to live in San Francisco. A raise in both rent and utilities costs will price many of us out of this beautiful place we live.

Sign this petition to let the Presidio trust know that you would like a public meeting to discuss the roll out of utilities at Baker Beach.
