This year for the first time since 1984 the Buget for Bethlehem Central High school was rejected. As a reasponse the school district is posting a new vote cutting many things. This is upseting to me and my fellow team mates beacause of the fact that on this list was the Cheerleading teams, along with other varsity sports. We refuse to sit here and allow our squad which costs a merely overestimated $8,000 out of a 72 million dollar budget. This is a Varsity sport and is being cut while other modified (middle school) and Freshmen teams which cost much more are not being cut. Please help our cause and sign out petition. We need your support to keep our squad our senior year alive!!! Thank you |

I have cheered on Bethlehems cheerleading teams for the past three years. Looking forward to my senior year these past months i have found that the only real excitement was going to be my last year cheering for the Orange Black and White! I looked forward to seeing some of the girls i coached in Popwarner Cheerleading being able to move up to JV and Varsity. My team mates and I love the sport we participate in and have no other options to turn to since it is our senior year. This is our sport and it does not cost much, our senior year is not going to be the same without it. |
