It is a true testament to both Eden Reigel and Elizabeth Hendrickson, that the fans want such a storyline to take place. If you look at the history of the character of Bianca, you find that Erica has been scared for her because she doesn't want her to be hurt. This has manifested itself in Erica now admitting that if she raised Bianca, maybe she wouldn't have ended up gay. My fear is that paired with Lena, Bianca will be hurt and we will see the fears not go away, but be bought into. Lena is only out for one thing, to hurt Erica and Enchantment. Maggie is only out for one thing, to love Bianca. I want to ask TPTB one question, who would you rather see Bianca with if she was someone you knew and loved? I along with many BAM fans, say Maggie. |

Couples are not manufactured out of convenience just because certain topics are deemed too sensitive for television. Manufactured love is exactly the message that ABC is sending out if they pair Bianca with Lena or anyone other than Maggie for that matter. In real life, someone who loves their mother as much as Bianca loves Erica, would not be interested in someone who is out to destroy her company or involved with someone who is out to destroy the company as Lena is with Michael Cambias. Bianca deserves a bonafide, real love interest and relationship and she has found that in Maggie. Eden and Elizabeth are magical together in every scene, and play this story out with such poignancy. Not to mention the fact that they too want to see their characters together. If the actresses themselves see something, why can't the network and the writers? Please AMC, put BAM together and show the world that we are not afraid to portray so-called "controversial" issues on television. |
