1677 Paul NolteWhy on earth would Houston consider building a 5,000 monstrosity smack dab in the middle of a quaint, well-established neighborhood? Furthermore, traffic in and around 59/Shepherd is already well over capacity. Bissonnett (not to mention Kirby, Westheimer and Shepherd), itself, is in such bad repair already, that additional traffic will turn it into a third-world wagon trail. This is a giant, over-compensating phallic symbol that has no place in this charming area of town. If it must be built, then move it to the Galleria or Mid-Town.

1680 N.GoldbergThis highrise would ruin one of the last truly beautiful neighborhoods in Houston. Please do not allow this!

1689 Daniel KilbrideI live less than three blocks away. This would add to already high volumne of traffic in the area.
1690 Matthew FastowI live less than a block away from the place where the construction is supposed to take place. I was wondering, why would they build a giant high rise in the middle of a fun, peaceful neighborhood that was voted the best in Houston on an already-busy street to make Southampton an urban, crowded neighborhood that will eventually turn into just a bunch of apartment buildings with no space to relax and have fun?
