JWSlopis | Please" STOP" this project.Thanks.
Gabrielle Zarate | We need to keep some of our most beautiful, historic areas intact. I'm all for progress, but this would be too much !

Anonymous | I live in the neighborhood and I am STRONGLY opposed to the Ashby High Rise Project. Bissonnett already gets backed up during rush hour without any high rise present. I don't know how I'm ever going to make it home with an increase in traffic. Where will all the resident's cars park? This is obviously a doomed project. Why go further? Why are you making the present residents miserable with an inappropriate development for this small neighborhood?
Gwynneth Baumgarten | Greed is a terrible thing. These people do not care if they ruin our beautiful old neighborhood. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Lori Loria | The traffic impact study states that less that two cars per minute will be added to the traffic flow during rush hour with the addition of the highrise. Less than two cars my A$$. It already takes me 15 minutes to drive from Raven's grill to Bank of America 5:00pm.
Austin Cooney | The City needs Planning and development ordinances.
Misha McMinimy | It is absurd to build high rise buildings in the middle of neighborhoods.

Edgar Lopez | I am sick and tired of all the destruction our city has undergone in the past years. Since early 2000, high rises have taken over and the city of Houston -our city- has been reduced to nothing else than steel and cement, which have killed important, historical places such as the River Oaks Cinema. This is the reason tourists from Europe, such as my friends from Spain find Houston so boring and ordinary. I often hear an: "If I'd know Houston was this boring and had nothing to do, I would have spent my money exploring other places of Europe I've never been to." Please, STOP this madness. There has to be a limit, and THIS IS IT!

lucia hamilton | i'm crossing my fingers this doesn't get built. What else can i do?!!! lets do it!
Lorena Carlisle |
Gerald Wiesner |
| 1523 | Justin Hamilton | I think my wife said it best when she wrote that, "the traffic issue is something that really really can't be ignored... this is not kirby with 4-6 lanes ...it's bissonet. which if you live around this area already knows there's a traffic issue.
It's only 2 lanes and 2 way traffic... i know the building will have a garage for residents but what about all the commercial that is planning to be included as well.. how will the in and out traffic affect the already bad traffic on bissonet? Something to be worried about if you live around here for sure."
I think we all need to stop, take a deep breath, and sit won to look at this situation like reasonable people. We need a solution that has the communities best interest in mind. |

Evan Graybill |
Alice Hicks Roach | I am a former resident of Boulevard Oaks and I strongly oppose the building of a high rise at this location. I would never have moved if I could have afforded a larger home in the area. You will ruin a beautiful neighborhood with this construction.
Hope Johnson |
Marcus Faust | The city of Houston should make all efforts to maintain the architectual continuity of its neighborhoods. Thank you for your supports.
Amir Pirzadeh | Stop Ashby High Rise

Anonymous | The traffic in that area is too much now. It would really be a mess if that large of a high raise went up in that area. The neighborhood has no need for that.
