I am starting this petition because I feel that too many animals are being harmed in the process of testing medications and household products. With all the technology we have in our world today you would think that we would have an alternative to such a barbaric method of seeing if products are harmful before putting them on the market. We are killing so many helpless animals that do not ASK to be tested on, but then again they really do not have a say. Many experiements can be done on the computer and there are also human beings willing to participate in experiements. We are not even 100% sure of all the side effects seen on the animals we test on considering that our genetic makeup is different from theirs. So, please sign this petition and maybe the people who need to see it will...and maybe this could be the first step in finding a new way to test out products before selling them and save millions of animals in the process. |

I am a college student who feels strongly about this topic. I am using this topic for my persuasive essay in my class and I am hoping that I can persuade my class to feel as strongly as I do on the topic and have them and many more people sign this petition. |
