| 55 | bernie | williams | CA | US | I organize a very successful 'no kill'shelter for dogs. All things are possible. Animals should not die so easily and an effort should be made to save them There are plenty of 'no kill' shelters in California who could create a massive awareness and rescue plan if brought together with the support of the Governor. |

| 80 | MaryEllen | Schoeman | CA | US | As an animal advocate and an animal care professional, I have read Dr. Laws proposal carefully and find that it is a practical, implementable, and fiscally sound proposal. There is every reason to beleive that it will succeed and I hope that state and city officials will back the program. |

I hope this No kill law will become legal and there will be no more killing of animals in shelters.
I also have another suggestion what about using the money to build more animal adoptions places, this is also good too. Since if the No Kill law doesn't pass, then the next thing could be to get many people to donate for a cause(s) to open up hundreds more animal adoptions all around the world as this will most likely lessen the need for people taking their animals to "animals on death row"a.k.a shelter, innocent by the way.
Thanks, please take this into serious consideration
Thanks again! |
| 93 | Pam | Holt | CA | US | We need to stay a progressive state, and stop the archaic practice of killing innocent, healthy, beautiful animals that only crime is that they got lost or were abandoned. |

I do not live in California but I am all for shelters who want to go the no kill way.I have had very personal tragic experience with having my dog who I loved with all my heart euthanized at an animal shelter. He got out of our yard through a hole in a fence we were saving money to get fixed, and a lady in our neighborhhod who I did not even know took him to the pound. They were supposed to hold him 3days I live in Houston, but they killed him right away because he was old and had arthrtis.I am very angry and heartbroken about what happened.I think it is wrong and cruel and heartless for these so called animal shelters to just be able to kill all these precious little animals with impunity like they do. |
