The petition

To the Honorable Representatives in the Congress and Senate of the United States, we the undersigned Cherokee Citizens, and U.S. Tax payers request the United States Congress immediately amend the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-644) which is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in marketing of Indian arts and crafts products within the United States, to include speech, the written word, and all forms of Native American Music.

We also request without equivocation, that the United States government, on behalf of All Native American people, write in protection and enforcement for all Native American Artist's rights under the afore mentioned law.
