I am glad to have found this petition. I would also gladly and actively participate if any story is needed. Be confident that my story is worth being told. 1324 Andrew Baxtermy plane was delayed on the runway for 3 hours... they kept making up reasons and saying it would be another 20 miutes.... needless to say I missed my connecting flight and slept in an airport. Then I found out when they took my bags they didnt actually check them, so here it is day 6 and no one has any idea where my bags are or what to do to get them back to me. They were able to give me the helpful advice of "be patient".

1329 Jennifer StampI was recently stranded overnight in the airport in Ottawa due to bad weather. After my second canceled flight of the day the Air Canada agent at the check in desk told me, and I quote, to "shut up." This is unacceptable.

1333 AnonymousI am in fear of flying Air Canada due to the completely rediculous operation systems of the airline. It is scary to know that the baggage situation is so screwed up that anyone could check a bag onto a flight and NOT board it..as happened with Air India. VERY VERY SCARY to have to travel air canada with my baby. I will not be flying air canada in the future ever. Very poor customer service..the list goes on. twice in 4 months I have had my bags lost. there is no excuse for this.

1345 Karen AllenI have had numerous bad experiences with Air Canada. Their total disdain for customers when they have screwed up and their lack of cooperation in helping people is disgusting.
1346 Don AllanAir Canada can always be counted on to screw up when there is no reason to. They have excuse upon excuse and lie after lie and refuse to have any accountability for their actions. The staff, particularly at Pearson International are rude and arrogant. I have witnessed them being totally ignorant to Canadian dignitaries.

1348 Cindy HarrisonI purchased tickets for my brother and his wife to come to Edmonton for Christmas. Air Canada phoned them to advise them their flight had been changed and they had 40 mins to pack and get to the airport, this was the night before the orginally book flight. Upon arriveing at the airport they were told they were too late, but would be on the next one two hours later. They got as far a Montreal that night and were told they were now booked on a morning flight YUL direct YEG, at 9am. They arrived on time to leave on the 9am flight but were told they were no longer booked on that flight. they were eventually put on a standby flight and in the mean time tried to keep us up to date with arrival times in YEG. We went to meet them on the appointed flight and low and behold no brother. so we waited until the next aircraft arrived still no brother. I went to ask one of the employees what they did with my brother and got nothing but attitude. they flatly refused to help in anyway. As we live an hour away from the airport it meant they were stranding us there until my brother eventually showed up. More than 30 hours after they left New Brunswick they finally arrived at destination. After having to incurr 250 dolars in hotel bills. My sister was visting too, and when she was leaving to go home, I requested a gate pass to show her to the departure gate. Upon reaching the gate I approached the desk and asked if there would be an agent in Montreal to help her find her way to the gate, as she is easily confused especially among throngs of people. The response was with utter indeffernce to the well being of a passenger and the tone was one of disgust at my audacity to ask for help for my sister. The woman replied that no one would be there to take her to her gate but if she asked, someone can tell her which way to go. I fly all over the world and Air canada is by far, THE WORST!!! airline I have ever had to endure. All the other airlines go out of their way to help passengers get to their gates especially those passengers who are incapacitated in any way. check out www.Ihateaircanada.com.
