I'm writing this Petition to express my unhappiness regarding the unreasonable suspension of Coolsmurf's Youtube account. According to his domain blog,

His account was suspended without any "warnings".
Coolsmurf forwarded to me the warning emails that YT sent him. All 3 warnings came on Sun, Jul 27, 2008 at 12:39 AM. Then his account was suspended. Well, i personally don't think that he had time to react, or to delete the violated videos. I've attached the emails for your reference.

I've removed his email so as not to cause Coolsmurf any further unnecessary troubles.
This petition is mainly to show support for Coolsmurf's hard work and voicing out our unhappiness that his account was suspended. Our target is to reach 1000 signatures with comments. Kindly refrain from posting comments with insulting or humiliating words. I can understand the anger but I would like to present a formal petition to YT and SBS to show our "sincerity". Majority of us got to know Kpop news and stuffs through the help of Coolsmurf and his subbed videos. We must let SBS be aware of this! Besides, it's downright ridiculous to suspend a Youtube user's account and delete all his hard work. It would be more sensible by just removing the violated videos.
I included a few comments which i found very "suitable" to be presented to YT and SBS. Nevertheless, all comments are welcomed. But I'd probably edit some of the "crude words" written to make this petition more formal and presentable.

Coolsmurf & others are literally doing YOU(SBS, Youtube) a BIG favor by potentially exposing to millions of eyeballs on your quality programs & advertising. Please practice fairness when executing closure of accounts. This whole episode basically signifies a "SENTENCE without a trial"

Without coolsmurf's hard work and subs the non-korean speaking community would've never had a chance to experience the korean culture. coolsmurf opened a new home for people all around the world who love the Korean culture, but are bound by the language barrier. coolsmurf didn't let the language barrier affect those who aren't able to speak the language. coolsmurf opened a new home where everyone shared the same interest.

Youtube, SBS , whom it may concern,pls reinstate Coolsmurf's account.He has been dedicating his time & effort in uploading all the wonderful videos for international viewers & did a wonderful job in snubbing each video.Korean entertainment had made more popular & accessible thanks to him.SBS had disappointed us greatly.What an ungracious action.It's totally uncalled for this suspension. Please bring back Coolsmurf's account!

While I realize SBS may be concerned with infringement rights, there are many people who have been able to even be interested in Korean culture and entertainment because of coolsmurf's work. Many of us live in areas where we would not be able to even see these show's on TV as international channels are not available. Also, since we are non-Korean speakers, our interest would not be satisfied watching without subtitles anyway. So unless SBS wants to subtitle ALL of their available programming, not just dramas, they should understand that because of coolsmurf we are even interested in what they have to offer. Please bring back coolsmurf's account!

I'm Responding to this petition for coolsmurf.Why am i writing this you say, Well i'm writing this to let you SBS crew members and production crew know that by you closeing down his account, you just basically lost your portal to the United States and around the world to those who are Non-Korean. Coolsmurf stepped up and gave us hope into your world of fashion and culture and a taste of game shows that the united states were to scared to try out or even think about, plus by closing his account we are basically lost at what to do and what to watch, we love our korean artist as one and always...just like how you reconize our artist's and movie stars here we do the same here. You may not know this but you are our portal into the korean culture that many dream to watch and learn and get closer to the artist that we love like andy, solbi, alex, crown j, seo in young, hyung joon of ss501 and our beloved hwang bo etc. but by your closing coolsmurf's account, your cutting off our portal to your land and your world. We yearn to learn more from you and your background and your culture we love the fashion and the technology that your so high in, we hunger to learn the songs and the music that you put out into the world. even though we as the united states may seem harsh on race and stuff but what about those who are welling to look past the culture difference, what about those who dream of a better day and want everyone around the world to unite and be strong not just as indivisuals but as one! what about those who Fight to become a better person by not just sticking to just one out look but whos open minded? Huh!, what about us. We love your culture and we love your passion to strive for a new beginning and how you want north korea to be as one with south korea. We are Fans of your artist and Actors and Actress just as you are to ours, so why cut off our portal to your world? Why!?...

First, I would like to apologize for any insults towards Youtube and/or SBS. It's not very convincing when some of the petition signatures are full of insults and curse words, however when people are at the peak of their anger, they resort to vulgarity of certain words. I fully understand why the videos were taken down. They were a form of infringement, and Youtube can do nothing, but comply to the request to remove the videos or suspend the user's account. Honestly, I really don't agree with the suspension of Coolsmurf's account. By filing a complaint against Coolsmurf, all SBS has done is decapitated one of the few forms of free advertising where over 20,00 (23, 523 to be exact, and that does not include the future subscribers of Coolsmurf's) people from all around the world come to watch videos that SBS has produced, for lack of better terms. Yes, the videos of Coolsmurf's are subbed into English, and only English, but think of the billions of people out there that speak English. Not only does America speak English, but 52 other countries in the world has English as their official language as well. I am one of Coolsmurf's 23,523 subscribers, and I have no idea where to find videos which include SBS's TV shows. If I can't find them, and mind you I am not South Korean, so the videos must be subbed into English, how on earth do you expect his other thousands' of viewers to find it? The Hallyu wave is something South Koreans are proud about. It stands for the current surge of South Korean culture throughout other countries, especially in Asian countries. The reason for this surge is not because of SBS's doing, because I am assuming (and yes, I am fully aware that I shouldnt make assumptions because it makes an *** out of you and me) it takes weeks, and probably months for SBS to sub these showsk, but it is people like Coolsmurf's hardwork. I feel sorry for Coolsmurf, because he took his own time and effort to sub 783 videos (more or less) in order for 23,523 people, and counting, to get their daily fix of the South Korean culture most South Koreans are so proud about. In fact, Coolsmurf did not sub the whole show, only the parts most interesting to get people like me hooked. Honestly, what's the point of the Hallyu wave, if no one is willing to share the culture with the rest of the world in a timely fashion?

I'm really glad to see alot of supporting messages to Coolsmurf comments. But please bear in mind that i'm presenting this petition to SBS and YT. I'll definately mail a copy to Coolsmurf as well. But it'll be better if the comment is written to SBS and YT instead of Coolsmurf. Thank you for your overwhelming support to Coolsmurf.
BTW, i'm not related to Coolsmurf in anyway, just like all of you, i'm just one of his many supporters.
