Voter's Of this petition support changing regul-
ations and procedures on mosquito control in
Commonwealth of Massachusetts , RI and New Hampshire . New England has the highest concertrations of human mosquito borne viruses included :deadlest Eastern EquineEncephalitis.The undersigned also support more public awareness and education on EEE and other infectious diseases.
Currently in place:3 confirmed blood tests are
needed before announcement to the public from
Department of Public Health when human case of
EEE exists.This is an 8 week wait.Adreanna died
in 8 days!Support change for announement after 1
confirmed blood test.
Currently when birds,squirrels,chipmunks,
and horses test positive for infectious disease,
it is not released to the public.Positive results
need to be taken more seriously and information
released to voters of the Commonwealth.Knowledge
and action are the first steps to protecting
our children and elderly.
Currently the State doesn't have budgets or
organizied effort for infectious disease.Signers
support change for State agencies to better
their efforts and teamwork.
Adreanna Wing was one of 5 victims in 2005
to die from EEE.In 2004 Sean Joyce also passed
from EEE.

Webster's office at Massachusetts StateHouse
I have been sponsored by Rep.Webster & Rep.
O'Brien for a educational seminar on mosq. borne
viruses.Many local health agents support effort and demand change selectman from various towns , Senator Pacheco ,Rep. Fagon , Senator Murry , SRMCB , and DPH.
I have also been pro-active in sending CDC Neato
Mosquito to all MA elementary schools and working
on research from other states with better methoods and budgets.
