Extend the Term of Andre Marin, Ontario's Ombudsman for another 5 years.

The petition

Andre Marin was appointed to the office of the Ontario Ombudsman in April 2005 for a term of 5 years. The Ombudsman act states that the term can be extended.

We want to see him in this role from April 2010 to April 2015.

Andre Marin and his office have helped those that were ripped off by Lottery insiders, Property tax payers, Children's aid and some hospitals.

Many times people come away with the thought of being beat down and defeated when trying to resolve a problem with the government or agency, the Ombudsman is many peoples last resort for fairness.

We need Andre Marin in his role for another term so he can deliver on his mandate.

He really is there for "We" the "Citizens"
