Over the years the third district of the Amateur Softball Association has been declining in many factions. Some of the higher points of relevance are seen in poor logistics, a lack of integrity, and a general biased nature. All are direct results of disorganized leadership.

Here is a short list of outstanding issues/complaints (not all encompassing)...

- Fines not enforced for late score call-in.

- Championship hardware promised and rarely delivered.

- The commissioner is not available (ie. Does not have text capabilities, rarely responds to email or phone calls, and voice mailbox is always full).

- Poor at resolving discrepancies or issues brought to their attention.

- Preferential treatment to certain teams.

- Promises made then retracted by using technicalities or avoiding the issue.

The league has a severe lack of foundation. A change is needed, or at the very least more checks and balances. This petition's intent is to verify these statements and bring the issues to a higher level (State level ASA commissioners).
