CA Safe Passing Distance Bill (AB60)

The petition

This is in support of CA Safe Passing Distance Bill (AB60) sponsored by Assemblymember Pedro Nava.

Current California law does not specify a minimum clearance but says motorists must pass at a "safe distance without interfering with the safe operation" of a bicycle.

This bill would required moving vehicles to give a 3 feet Measure of Safety between them and the bicycle.
