About 9 years ago I had dropped something and bent over to pick it up. When I didn't get up right away my mother asked me what I was doing on the floor? I was a bit embarrassed to say I couldn't get up. That's when I knew I had to do something about my weight and fitness or lack there of.
I started an exercise program of walking on my treadmill (yes I actually had one) and eating better. Six month's later I had dropped 43 lbs and was up to actually jogging 2 miles at a time 3-4 times a week.
