In the spirit of restoring organized public policy back to the streets of Jersey City, New Jersey, the current council has revised policies that support future street names. Before we do that, this is a good time to agree that 6th Street, should extend east, through Newport City so the new section of downtown Jersey City can find the Historic Area, which is west of Washington Blvd. We therefore, agree that Gangemi Drive, be place in another area of the city, and restore 6th Street within the Newport development.
