   Comments: Queer As Folk is a wonderful show, whether you are gay or straight. It has significantly helped me through many trying times, including coming out and dealing with meeting a potential lover who turned out to be HIV+. I had a successful coming out story. I also decided not to let the HIV+ status of the man I met to negatively influence me in deciding whether or not I wanted a relationship with him. We have now been together for a year and I am very happy with him. I would love to see Queer As Folk extended for a 5th season, or even longer. Furthermore, I heard a rumor that Randy Harrison will not be back for Queer As Folk after season 4. I hope he changes his mind if this rumor is true, and I also hope that Queer As Folk is renewed for a 5th season, if not more. Thank you.

If any of the actors are thinking about leaving, I think that can be changed with even better writers (I thought season 3 was much better than season 2) and more money, which they have earned this season. If not, then new characters (hopefully including some minorities) could be added.

    Comments: The fact that the characters are gay just adds a different dimension to the show, the characters and the day to day situations.( kind of like the mafia is a dimension of the Sopranos which I don't like as much as QAF) What I enjoy are the characters themsleves, the actors portrayal of the characters and the story lines/development of the characters.

It transcends sexual orientation and is about flawed people who love each other, make mistakes, and experience the joys and tragedies of life just like everyone else. No words can ever do this show justice or express how much this show means to so many people. Please keep it on for at least the fifth season even though ideally, I'd want it on longer.
