Dr.Jeff Rose is set to receive a 4% raise from the Beaverton School DIstrict as of 7-1-2013. This is based on a closed door review of his work by the school board. I am suggesting after all the appeals of how the district needed a LEVY to get $15M to get more staff in the schools, he does not need a raise. He will be up to $193K a year after the raise. Please sign this petition so I can take it to the school board on 7-1-2013 at 8:00am.

Donna Coningsby, United States1 year ago Comments: My special ed 4th grader had to try to mainstream into a classroom of nearly 40 kids this year -- totally inappropriate and made it much harder for him. The teachers did the best they could with the limited resources but if we continue like this the BSD will see huge declines in student achievement in the years to come. Please make him and every other administrative non-teaching employee give back their raises -- we need that money for the students.
John Santella, United States1 year ago Comments: Boy do I feel duped. This makes me wonder if prior cuts and ballooning class sizes were all a stunt to convince voters that additional funds were needed. Now that the additional funds have been secured, is that the "good job" that the school board feels Jeff Rose has done? I'll remember this when when near certain request for a reauthorization of this levy appears on the ballot in five years. I have lost all trust in this district.
