   Comments: Please keep Sharon Elementary School open. This school is amazing and does such good for the children that attend there. They treat us all as family. My daughter has ADHD and I am afraid that when you combine these schools, I worry that these kids will not get the help and attention that they need. I have heard that there will be modular trailers placed at Mountain View for our kids to have to attend school in. Please look at the budget again and keep our school open.

   Comments: The Alleghany Highlands has too many informed citizens to just accept closing schools as a quick fix for our problems. We need to look at the "real" problem and work together. They say we will save, but what wll be spent? We still have to educate the students from the schools that will close.

    Comments: The Faculty and Staff of Falling Spring Elementary School have made a HUGE impact on my life. Since I was a very young I have wanted to become a teacher when I "grow up". I believe that if it wasn't for the kind, caring teachers at Falling Springs and the compassion they have had for their students, many of us would not be where we are today. This elementary school is not just ordinary it's extraordinary. From the librarian to the teachers to the principal, all faculty and staff show concern and go above and beyond for their students. Please, before you close down an admirable school, reconsider your decision.
