Name: Anonymous on Jul 24, 2008Comments: I think we need to target the roadway hazards with more lights, cameras, steeper fines and impositions, to hold speeders, red-light-runners, and careless drivers MORE accountable for their actions. No matter what intersection I am crossing, I always slow and make sure I am not going to be hit by the numerous amounts of drivers that fail to stop for red lights. People are just in such a hurry now that they forget the precautions that need to be taken.Flag

Name: Jason Suttmeier on Jul 24, 2008Comments: I moved to Davenport, FL in September 2007. I live in Tuscan Hills about 2 miles SOUTH of 192. Immediately, I was concerned with Route 27... particularly trying to make a left hand turn out of my complex onto Route 27 South. We are desperately in need of a traffic light. Also... I think in SOME AREAS 65 is WAY TOO FAST. I think the speed limit on ANY SECTION of Route 27 that has communities or stores should be 55 (MAX)!Flag

Both my children play soccer, and must travel oin 27 to make it to soccer games. The driving I witness is terrible and very scarey. please do something before more lives are lost. Thank youFlag

Name: Lisa Farr on Jul 24, 2008Comments: My intersection of 27 and Legacy Park is in DESPERATE need of a light. How many accidents need to happen before they put one up! It is filled with townhome renters who are not familiar with the way this road is (speed limits and traffic patterns, etc) and someone is going to be killed, if it already hasn't happened. Please...I have a daughter who will be driving soon and I cannot imagine being a new driver trying to get out of our neighborhood.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 24, 2008Comments: Everyone is worried about travelling frequently on this highway. The speeds are excessive, and the standards of driving are generally very poor. Use of cell phones, razors, make-up mirrors and even map-reading are very common and should be stopped by the police. What about the truckers who crowd this road and break speed limits.Flag
