HIGHWAY 27: ITS TIME TO STOP THE BLOODSHED

The petition

Highway 27 from Haines City to the Polk County / Lake County line has earned its moniker of Bloody 27 Each year numerous crashes have injured or killed the residents of Florida or vistors to The Sunshine State. Its time to end the bloodshed!! Its time to protect your Heather!

We the undersigned demand that the FDOT, Polk County officials, the state government in Tallahasse, all the way to the Governors office act immediately to lower speed limits in areas of high residency and business. We demand the placement of warning signs and flashing lights to warn of dangerous intersections ahead. We demand additional law enforcement in the unincorporated area of Davenport, Florida be added to catch those who choose to break the law. We demand a safe trip on our highways. We demand a safe Highway 27!!
