| 153 | Lydia Harris | To let her get away with committing crime just goes to show the money equals power. It also shows to others that drink driving isn't a very serious offence, and we all know that isn't true. She ran the risk of seriously harming or killin another person by driving under the influence - her sentence should be longer as it was her third time!!! She obviously hasn't learnt... |

| 155 | Laura | Why should this wretched woman walk free? Her actions were reckless, endangered the lives of others and it appears she couldn't care less. This behaviour sets a poor example for young people. It is necessary to punish Paris Hilton for her crime and for her to receive the same sentence that you or I would receive in the same situation.
Jailing this woman will send out the message that drink-driving is wrong. So many people die every year because of it - innocent lives senselessly destroyed.
It is essential that we preserve the integrity of the judicial system by demonstrating that no-one is above the law. Otherwise, we will eventually lose respect for the system: how can it be called "just" if it isn't? |
