James PolingNo justice, no peace!
Steve BridgemanShe broke the law, she got a second chance, she broke the law again. I'm not sayign that she should be made an example of, but to let her off because of her wealth and celebrity would set exactly the wrong example.
Caitlin McVey-MartinezI say keep Hilton in jail and save the justice system.

Tony DeeseYou break the law, you have to pay the price. What she did was a blatant disregard to the law and anything else short of her jail sentence would be a another mockery of our already flawed justice system. She is an awful role model who thinks she can do whatever she wishes and I have no sympathy for her "plight". Now she will get the discipline her parents never gave her.

AnonymousShe should not receive special treatment simply for being popular. Would you allow someone to be murdered because the majority of people believe they should die? Laws should apply to all citizens equally.

will taffetThat bitch sucks ....complete waste of air and life....this is a good example of how we can stop rewarding the stupid......Jail her
AnonymousLaws are laws! As Paris Hilton is afforded the priveledge of being an american citizen, so must she abide by the same laws that govern us all-regardless of her 'hieress' title! -TJN
AnonymousGive her another 45 days for being such a skank!

Sean MartinNext time, put the "We Want..." RIGHT UP FRONT IN THE **FIRST** sentence. Not BURIED in the SIXTH paragraph. Anyone reading ony the first couple of sentences (which is ALL most people WILL read) would think this is in SUPPORT of Hilton.
Kyle MartinThis starts off like you LIKE Hilton. It isn't until the very END of the first paragraph that it is clear you don't. In a good petition, the objective is right up front, sentence #1. The reasons can then follow. Under NO circumstances whould the "This petition is to ask..." be buried SECOND TO LAST. Nobody will read that far!
Ryan MartinBadly designed petition. The thing you want is buried 6 paragraphs deep. Do better next time.

donald schererMy son was killed by a drunk driver 4 years ago. Ms Hilton should be thankful she is alive and will able to drive again after serving just 45 days behind bars, This is a short period of time in which maybe she will straighten herself out and understand safe driving responsibilities Please stand firm on this issue. Do not let paris slide.

Stuart TryonI am in full support of this petition. I agree with every aspect that it tells of this horrible monster of media who clogs our television screens with her pathetic nonchalant life-style. If she was an individual who actually gives back to America by supporting some worthy cause (such as promoting campaigns against drunk driving) I would consider this a little closer. However, since she does nothing with her time except make a mockery of hard working Americans, I wish her the best of luck in the detention facility. I only hope that something good comes out of this, such as her learning that she is not the center of our lives, and that we are not awed by her presence.
