America is asleep at the wheel when it comes to insuring that ordinary citizens (not stars who can afford to buy protection) are safe when venturing outside the home arena. The Colorado massacre is something that might have been prevented and should never have happened.
There are three items that I have in my petition which possibly could make our country a bit safer.
These are:1) Make it mandatory that all gun applications be written out in cursive with a signed signature 2.) Metal detectors in large public buildings 3) An armed guard on premises of public buildings.
I am a certified handwriting analyst and if an applicant writes in cursive a CHA can easily determine if that applicant is mentally
unstable and should not have access to a gun. Employing certified handwriting analysts to wean out the mentally unbalanced is a wondrous way to get our country back on track to a great degree. A computer generated handwriting analyzer is probably the best solution as they are quicker and quite resourceful in weeding out undesirable traits found in an applicants writing. However all three of these ideas are sound, sane ways of accomplishing a safer America for ourselves, children and grandchildren. I am imploring the US government to listen to a voice of reason as what kind of legacy do we want to leave? If we desire a country of unlearned, savages, we are well on our way to that scenario if we idly sit by and DO NOTHING. My petition offers a wise alternative.
