With all of the greeenway development underway (e.g. Riverwalk), bus bike racks would be a great option for Detroiters wanting to get to them. With DTOGS allowing bike roll-ons, it makes sense for DDOT to carry bikes and enhances its role as a feeder. |

| 26 | ron shelton | This sort of thing is in GREAT need in this city! I use the racks on the 650 smart buss line but have few options as to other locations I wish to commute! I have found that many times the 2 bike racks are full and have to wait 45 to 55 minuets for the next buss only to find it is full!!! I commute all year round and it is catching on. I would love to see any improvement in this issue, Ron Shelton. |
