   Comments: I am a single mother of a 3 and 4 year old. I was working at the same company as a very successful account executive for about 10 years before before it was all over. My 2nd unemployment extension will be exhausted in April 2009. I, along, with many tax paying Americans (while we were working) are asking the President, Congress, and all who has a heart and a ear at Capitol hill.. to Hear our voices for unemployment extension to be extended to aLL unemployed people including those exhausting their second extension.

I was laid off and have been trying to look for work every single day, to no avail. I have a family who needs a roof over their heads and small children who need to eat.     Comments: I am a 56 year old single woman and have desperatley been trying to reenter the workforce since I was laid off from my job of 5 years, last January (2008) I have exhausted any savings I had at that point to subsidize the unemployment benefits I have thankfully been receiving and will have no income or resources whatsoever in 5 weeks, unless a mirical happens and I gain employment in that time, which I am searching for EVERY DAY. I have no Family I can stay with. Truthfully I AM VERY SCARED for my future and consider the unthinkable more times than I think God may forgive me for the act. I am in a county where we have 10% unemployment and frankly am scared to death at the end I am looking at. I hope someone in power will help, not only me, but the many Americans in find themselves in the same postition as I do. The stress, worry and loss of self esteem and pride in ones life that once used to be a part of the working woman that I was, has slowly diminished. Please help us. One of the Unemployed in Florida
