There are millions of people about to exhaust the benefits they were recieving under the second federal unemployment extension. President Obama's stimulus package extends beneifts to Dec. 2009 only to those who are filing a new claim. Anyone on unemployment did not choose to lose their jobs. To every unemployment claim there is a mortgage or rent attached, a family who needs to pay for basic necessities such as utilities and food. Until such time jobs begin to materialize everyone should be included in the unemployment extension as outlined in Obama's stimulus package. This petition will be forwarded to Congress and to the White House. It will represent those who are not asking for a hand out but a hand up until jobs become available. It will let your voice be heard and will press the President and Congress to do the right thing and include everyone. Please sign the petition and pass it onto others.
