Name: Jenny Hockett on Mar 31, 2008Comments: I say a big "NO" because this area on Thompson Station Rd. West should be left "as is". We're taking away too much of our country side and I thought that this area was to be left to building lots of 5 acres or more. This road can hardly stand the traffic it has now. Please say NO.Flag

Name: Dawn Harrison on Apr 5, 2008Comments: This is made for low density - I don't see how 1/3 or 1/5 of an acre lot is low intensity. I would like to see this area remain rural and not lose the distinction of what makes Thompson's Station - Thompson's Station vs chaos. It's shameful that are politicans would sell out and go back on their promises. Sadly Money Talks. Thanks for Mille Halvorson - I'll remember her name during the next election. NOT HAPPY!Flag

Name: Tim Harrison on Apr 5, 2008Comments: I'm subject to 5 acre minimum. I can see this land from my house. How can they put a house on 1/3 or 1/5 of an acre. Maybe I should rezone my property and sell off too and cash in. Totally Against Rezoning of This Property........ Green Acres is the place to be. Farm living is the life for me. Land spreading so far and wide. Keep Spring Hill but give me that countryside.Flag

Name: Ron And Rita Maggi on Apr 5, 2008Comments: We moved to the country because we where told in meetings of the Thompson's Station officials that it would remain country based upon the citizen's vote; this now being ignored. Seems that the officials feel that the $$$ is more important than the people's rights. Through our taxes we pay to have our opinions heard and not ignored. We, the people, are, in this nation, the employers of the town officials. Our decisions are final. Democracy!!!Flag

Name: Joshua B. Norman on Apr 9, 2008Comments: I have lived in the Burwood community all of my life. I have watched Thompson's Station grow from the BP and Sale Barn to what it is now. Also, Spring Hill has exploded as well. It saddens me to see what is happening to an area that at one point was fields and farms.Flag

Name: Hollie Fisher on Apr 11, 2008Comments: My husband and I moved to Thompson's Station for the sole fact that it is a small, family oriented city. We both feel as though approval of the River View Farms Development would overpopulate this wonderful, homey city. We live right behind the said property. It makes our day each time we drive by and see the beautiful land. We can't imagine seeing home after home instead of the adorable cows. Please don't let Thompson's Station lose its small town appeal to families such as us.Flag

Name: Amy Sturm on Apr 12, 2008Comments: I have lived in Williiamson County my whole life, 37 years; I take pride in all that this county has to offer; part of that being our rural areas . Growth around this area is occuring at an astonishing rate at some point we have to say enough. People flock to this county for it's great schools and small town feel. If we allow this development to go up in Thompson's Station the we lose so very much. We become just another county who sold out to the highest bidder. I understand that we must have growth but I also understand there has to be balance. And right now the scale is leaning heavely to development.Flag
