Mr. Dewayne is one of the most valuable assets at their school. So why does the Board of Education & school principal want to involuntarily transfer him to the high school The board has yet to give us a concrete answer! He's a safety advocate, a counselor, a janitor and a friend to all Brunner students, parents and staff. More than 80 parents and students from Brunner showed up to the Board of Education meeting to express their desire to keep him at Brunner. The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Board of Education decided to approve the transfer of Brunner Elementary custodian Mr. Dewayne to the night shift at the high school. Please sign our petition so we can express to the board our desires to bring Mr. Dewayne back to Brunner elementary school, so he may continue to provide all the help he gives us.
