| 103 | Emily M Beard | We cannot allow such a high density development to go in next to the established neighborhood. I am not against new, well constructed developments in Decatur, in fact I live in a new condo and am in support of all the downtown growth, but this development is not in the best interest of the exisiting residents of the neighborhood. The plans will bring in too many residents, along with their cars, which will equate to too much traffic and will overpopulate the neighborhood. |

| 129 | Donna Billingsley | I really hope that the City takes a good hard look at the problems with this proposed complex. The lack of parking alone creates significant hardship on nearby residences and businesses. In addition, it is not in keeping with the nature of "On the Square" residences as owned not rented property. The commitment to property upkeep and dedication to community goals is frequently lower among people who do not have a financial investment in the preservation and intelligent growth of our community. I am proud to be a "native daughter" of the City of Decatur. I returned to the City in large part because I believed that the City could retain its commitment to small town excellence while keeping abreast of the changing times. Dr. Donna Billingsley |
| 130 | Christine Perkell | There does not exist an emergency dearth of land on which to build condos in Decatur. This is not NYC! To build a building IN FRONT of the current 315 W. Ponce is grotesque and unnecessarily ingenious. The consequences to current residents of 335 West Ponce would be gravely deleterious--the new building would be invasively too close. This plan is SO wrong that it must be opposed. |

| 139 | Frances Wechsler | The "...density and scale seem inappropriate for a location adjacent to an R-60 neighborhood, about a parking proposal that is inadequate according to existing code, about the impact of a potentially significant increase in traffic, and about a design that seems driven more by an effort to maximize use of the available space than by a desire to enhance the character of West Ponce and to provide an appropriate transition into a single-family residential area. " quote from neighborhood resident....reflects my concern. |
