This is regarding education transport for special needs children. The taxi will only wait 3 minutes for the child, please support against this by signing this petition. This petition is to ask for your much needed support with regards to transport provision concerning special needs children. An education transport service have written a letter to the parents stating that the taxi will only wait 3 minutes for the child in the morning, it will then pull away and the child will then have to make their own arrangements to get to school, even though they have been with this service for over 5 years and have always had a good understanding. We understand how this can cause distress on the taxi as well as the children in the taxi; however this can be seen as discrimination as they cannot assume that the child will be ready in 3 minutes.
