Changes to the Exam Timetable
The exam timetable this year for 2nd Year Biomedical Science students needs to be changed.
There are 8 exams in a 17 day period, 5 of those are on consecutive days.
We are complaining and would like an alteration to the timetable.
This course is difficult as it is; all 8 exams are 2 hours longs and are worth up to 75% of each module. We are paying upto £9000 per year for this degree and as academics, we are all working hard and would all like to do well but, regardless of all our efforts, believe that this timetable will negatively impact all of us.
We appreciate that there are issues with scheduling and fitting numbers of students in an area safely, and understand that the exams are not far away, but something can and should be done about this.
We would like no more than 2 consecutive days of exams.
