As a former track performer and one who has a true appreciation for the sport, I like many others, were totally taken aback while watching the greatest sprinter get disqualified for a false start. The rule was recently changed (2010) to enact the 1 false start rule is clearly not what the sport deserves nor what its aficionados deem worthy. The performance of the athletes makes the sport a beautiful thing to watch not the red tape. Many felt the pure air taken out of them ...in disbelief and are still in disbelief. We were robbed of watching what was and always is an epic performance from the incomparable Usain Bolt. If you want think the 2nd-False start should be reinstated, let's show them that we mean business. Usain Bolt is and will always be number one, false start or not.
