Inclusion of Second Specialisation in Degree Scroll

The petition

To: The President of Nanyang Technological University

We, the Second Specialisation students of Nanyang Technological University, appeal to the University to include our Second Specialisation in our Degree Scroll in 2007 and onwards for the reasons below.

Firstly, a distinction should be made between the students who have taken Second Specialisation and those who have not.

Secondly, this more accurately reflects the complexity of our course in taking more than the standard subjects and the effort expended in doing so.

Thirdly, it more accurately reflects the inclusion of the Second Specialisation in determining our Honours Standing.

Fourthly, we are proud of our Second Specialisation and so we want it to be shown in the official Degree Scroll as well. The Second Specialisation deserves greater recognition.
