2 Hour Free Parking

2 hr Free Parking

Wiltshire Council is planning to remove the Free Car Parking in St Margaret’s Car Park from 4th April 2011.

New charges will be introduced at 40p for one hour and £1.20 for two hours, in ALL Bradford on Avon car parks.

The businesses of Bradford on Avon seek your support in keeping this crucial car parking free and to levy only reasonable charges on other town parking.

Please sign this petition if you support the town in it’s pursuit of free car parking and sensible tariffs.

The motorist is always targetted when money is needed for other projects. The parking outside the health centre in station approach should be free for patients to visit the Dr.s surgery and collect persciptions from the chemist. If these local people have to pay car park fee's to do these things, then the tourist should be paying car park charges on sunday's!

3 years ago Comments: The charges are making my life very difficult - I can no longer easily deliver my children to swimming training at the pool, and collect them. I can no longer easily drop off prescription requests at the Health Centre and collect medicines from the chemist. I am not willing to pay each time I need to park for these very brief periods.
