Stop The Oil Companies !

30 Signatures Goal: 100

It seems every week now the big business oil companies are coming up with some excuse to drain money out of the pockets out of the American public. First it was Hurricane Katrina that drove prices flying. Ever since that dreadful event the oil companies have looked for any little thing so they could up the price again and make record profits while the rest of us suffer. A few weeks back the altercation between British sailors and Iran shot it up. Now the refineries are in bad shape out of the blue and can't keep up with demand. How conveniant right before Memorial Day and Independence day for them to do this. There are people who are going to be forced to choose between eating or filling their car up. Wake up America ! How high will you let them drive the price before you do anything besides gripe under your breath. If you are sick of the oil companies killing this country financialy then please sign this petition. Lets send Washington a message and let them know that we are tired of them not stepping in and representing the people that got them elected. This issue is only going to get worse if it is not stoped soon. Please sign and help us force the goverment to limit the absurd burden these companies are putting on the great people of this country.
