Stroud November 14, 2008 OUR STUDENTS DESERVE THE BEST: A CRY FOR PARENTAL SUPPORT To My Lithonia High School Parents: This is cry for help to my fellow parents of Lithonia High School. I am not sure how many of you may be aware of the latest situation at our school. Once again, a decision has been made to pull one of the dedicated teachers at LHS. This time it is one of the ninth grade administrators, Mr. Terrance Harvey. I am not sure how many of you are familiar with Mr. Harvey, but I can attest to the fact that he is genuinely concerned about the welfare of our students and goes above and beyond for them. His calm, but stern demeanor has earned the respect of all he encounters. Mr. Harvey has been told that today, Friday, November 14, will be his last day at Lithonia High School. He will be reporting to Miller Grove High School on Monday. I am also told that he will be replaced by an administrator who had an unfortunate altercation at his previous school. Parents it is time for us to come together as a body and demand the best for our children. No longer can we allow Lithonia High be the dumping ground.
