| 7 | Lorraine Cave | I am very concerned at the speed of traffic in Waterbeach and the sheer ignorance and selfishness of drivers who only think of themselves and not others. |

| 11 | Daniel Fletcher | i agree that a speed limit of 20 mph should be introduced before someones child gets hurt. I think we should adopt the German system and impose a speed limit of 20 mph in all residential areas. |

| 13 | Anonymous | We are due to move to Waterbeach, we live in MQ's and the speed limit on this estate is 15 miles an hour, so yes 20 is definatly plenty, how can it be that the speed limit is far too high for a Village????
Has nobody picked up that it should be a low speed limit! |

| 15 | Samantha Pinner | I have recently moved to Waterbeach, and i am shocked by the fast moving traffic, generally in Waterbeach. Especially in Way Lane and the High Street. Generally i think something needs to be done. So i very much agree with you petition. Please could you voice my views on Way Lane.
With many thanks,
Samantha

| 19 | CLAIRE CLEAVE | CURRENTLY LIVING IN KENT BUT HAVE BEEN BASED AT WATERBEACH P[REVIOUSLEY AND ARE MOVING BACK IN OCTOBER, SPEEDIIS PROBLEM IN ALL MARRIED QUATER AREAS INCLUDING DOWN HERE, I AGREE THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM WHICH SHOULD BE LOOKED AT AND RECTIFIED DUE TO AREA AND THE AMOUNT OF CHILDREN AND PETS THAT AREN'T EVEN SAFE TO PLAY IN THEIR OWN GARDENS ETC!!!!! |
| 20 | clare richards | Having only recently moved to waterbeach I am shocked by the reckless driving I witness on a daily basis through the heart of the village - I therefore fully support this petition and hope that the restrictions will extend to the high street also. |
| 21 | Terence parsons | Moving to the area shortly and would be pleased to see a 20mph speed limit. |

| 28 | Ben Thomas | I think you also need to find a way to cut the amount of cars parked outside the school at pick-up and drop off times. Everyday is chaos. I tink it may be too hard for one lollipop lady and it seems only a matter of time before it becomes a news story. Living in the village i see many parents who live within walking distance driving up. As for the excuse of having to walk too far, i grew up on Cambridge Road and it never did me any harm to walk home every day, rain, snow, hail or shine. Many thanks |

| 34 | Nicole Weedall | I used to live at Kirby Rd. And took my Dog for walks down Cody Rd . Even with me not living there anymore I think the limit should be 20mph or even 15mph. For the safty of Animals and Humans. |
| 35 | Anonymous | People know the speed limit, yet they still speed, why would making it 20 change their minds? 30 is almost going backwards anyway. Its not speeding which is the problem, its dangerous driving. |
